A picture is worth a thousand words

James and his family always say that Peyton looks just like him when he was a baby. They say it all of the time. His Grandma even said to me that I got "cheated". My family says that she looks like me, but it is a little hard to argue when I have bleach blonde hair and she has brown hair. Every mom wants their baby to look like them....plus James would not make a very pretty girl so lets hope she gets more from me. Anyway...my point is....after hearing this over and over again I decided to get some hard evidence. Here is a picture of all three of us at the hospital and all three of us at 4 months. I don't want to hear another person say that she doesn't look like me. I had brown hair until I was almost 2 years old and I was born with a ton of hair. I did not get cheated. I am not saying James got cheated either, but a big portion of her came from me. I know it is bratty to post these, but I don't care....it is what it is.

Some pics for her 2010 Calendar

I am making a calendar to give grandparents for Christmas....these are a few of the cute Easter ones.  Next it will be June and July....it seems weird putting her in a swimsuit in December....but it has to be done.  Look how cute our little bunny is.

My thoughts.......

The one thing I don't like about blogs is that you want to write about how you feel...but you don't know who reads your blog and you don't want to offend anyone.  With this in mind and the fact that I am pretty sure no one but Missy reads this....I am just going to write whatever I want.  If I offend you...to bad.

I am so grateful for the help that my family has given us lately.  They come down to our house every week to babysit Peyton while I am at work on Mondays and Tuesdays...on top of that they cook us food both nights.  This last week they brought us two Christmas trees and a ton of Christmas decorations to help fill our big empty house.  Every week they also bring Peyton something like toys, clothes, or things for her room.  They have helped us so much.  They give, give, give and we take, take, take.

My point to all of this is.....I am so grateful and I don't care if they have a lot of pets or sometimes they may do things a little backwards.  They are my family and I love them just the way they are.  They would do anything for me and you can't say that about a lot of people.  I love that my Mom is a shopaholic and still helps her kids do their homework.  I love that my Dad comes in our house and automatically starts repairing something.  I love that Dallas calls me when he disagrees with them and wants me to pick his side.  I love that Dac can just come over and help me clean my house and still thinks that it is fun just because we are hanging out.  I seriously love them so much and I am happy that I am like them. I know that they may not be the most organized people in the world.....but their imperfection is what makes them perfect.  I was....and still am very proud to have ARGYLE in my name.

This week

I really don't have much to write about today so I thought I would just write random things that have been happening in my life.

  • I put up the Christmas tree today...I know it is November, but I don't care...I love Christmas and I can put it up whenever I want...so there.
  • Haiti has been pretty naughty lately. She chewed up several pieces to our milk pump and then dragged a messy diaper under the bed yesterday.....she better shape up soon or Santa is gonna leave her out this year.
  • Peyton said "Hi" today...two times. I know it had no meaning, but I keep having dreams about her talking and so it kinda freaked me out. It was just so clear.
  • Tandem's husband has swine flu and has been really sick and hospitalized. I hope he gets better soon. Stuff like this confirms my need for being over protective with Peyton.
  • I am shocked that they want to raise our property taxes in Jordan School District....every elementary school in that district has at least 2 MAC computers in their offices.....not the regular ones....the two screen jumbo ones. I just don't understand why they have a need for such expensive computers.....especially at elementary schools.....and I know from experience that that is not all they are wasting OUR money on.
  • James ordered a Dallas Cowboys shirt on eBay for him and it fit me instead....haha....but then the one he got me fit him...:( I guess it all worked out.
  • The Cowboys beat the Eagles this last week......woot woot....You're next Lambo
  • James is growing his beard out because I think that his hair is getting a little dusty (nice word for gray) He thinks it will stay dark. Right now it is looking red. I wonder who will win....honestly I hope he wins....but he will look handsome with dark or gray, but if it stays red it will have to go.
  • We have been watching Greys Anatomy lately....ok so like 5 hours a night. We are a tiny bit obsessed. Now we are caught up and it is dreadful to have to wait until Thursday night for a tiny little 43 minute episode. I can't watch TV like this anymore. Thank god for Netflix.
  • Peyton is seriously the cutest baby in the whole world. She is so pretty and happy. I don't know what I did to get such a good one, but I am very grateful

Ok..that pretty much sums up my current thoughts.
